Have you ever felt like you were too scared to go on in life, that you just are losing your grip and that you just can't do what you need to so that you can be happy? Chances are you have felt that way at least once in life, and it was all lies from Satan, to keep you from the truth.
2 Timothy 1:7 tells us that God did not give us a spirit of fear, that He gave us a spirit of power, love and a sound mind! Anything else that we think or feel is just spiritual baggage that we need to rid ourselves of!
If we continue to believe Satan's lies, and feel like we can't do things, or love others as we should, or that we are losing our mind and ready to give up, it will keep us from the power God gave us and that is rightfully ours! Philippians 4:13 says that through Jesus, we can do anything!
But rather, if we believe God's promises and keep His words in our hearts, we will see that power working in our lives, we will have love in our hearts and our minds will not be filled with confusion. (I Corinthians 14:33)
As Christians, we know that because we believe in Jesus, we will be saved, and God didn't ever want us to live a life of wrath. (I Thessalonaians 5:9)
God uses the bad times we have to help us grow spiritually, even though Satan wants to destroy you, God will raise you up through it. Instead of Satan using it to destroy us, God is using it to help us get patience and grow more like Jesus. We should feel blessed that God takes those things and uses hem for good in our lives. (James 1:2-4)
Do NOT listen to Satan's lies, rather hold onto God's promises. You ARE powerful against Satan's attacks, you ARE capable of loving others, and your mind IS sound! God made us more than conquerors through Christ (Romans 8:37), God knows how to deliver you (2 Peter 2:9), and remember that He that is in you, is greater than he that is in the world! (1 John 4:4)
My prayer for all who read this is that they realize who they are in Christ and stop listening to the crippling lies Satan tries to make us believe! In jesus Name, Amen!
