The more I read and learn God's Word, the more it amazes me. Not only the fact that everything we need to know is in God's Word, but also the fact that it will never pass away. The honor we have of having God's Word with us at all times amazes me, and just how limitless the power of God's Word is, amazes me.
This verse tells us that God's Word is perfect and as we read it and hold it close to our hearts, never forgetting it and always trusting in it, that God's Word will not only convert our souls, but it makes the simple person wise.
This verse tells us that God's testimony is sure, we never have to wonder if His way will work, we can and must have faith that it WILL work in our lives.
God's Word is so beautiful, and it is more than just a handbook for Christian life, it is also the story of the greatest love of all, God's Love, and how He made sure a sinful world would have a way to be reconciled back with Him!
I encourage all who read this to look at reading and studying God's word as a privilege and as a gift from God, because the fact is, God doesn't want us to be unarmed against Satan, and I pray that you realize the powerful weapon that God's word truly is! In Jesus' Name, Amen!
