Luke 15:7~ I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
What a joyous occasion it must be in Heaven when someone repents of their sins, and gives their heart to God!
Jesus told the people that He came to call the sinners to repent not the righeous ones. (Luke 5:32)
God knows that it is impossible for us to live a godly life without Him. He also knew how much we needed saved, and so He sent Jesus to die for our sins.
Just as the father rejoiced when the prodigal son returned to him, so is our Father in Heaven rejoicing that we have returned to Him!
When I read this verse, it makes me feel so loved knowing that when I accepted Christ as my Saviour, all of Heaven rejoiced and gave glory to God!
We are so valuable and loved by God, we are His children!
My prayer for all who read this is that they come to realize God's endless love for them, and that they migt feel loved more than they ever had! In Jesus Name, Amen!
