So many people suffering ask the same thing. The truth of the matter is that Satan still has rule of this world until Christ returns. What we have as Christians is God, the One Who rescues and redeems us.
There is a spiritual war going on always, and as Christians, we are warriors in this war. (Ephesians 6:12) Because we believe and trust in God, He is there on our side at ALL times!2 Corinthians 1:9-11 tell how Paul suffered in Asia at the hand of unbelievers. He was treated so badly, he wanted to die, but God took that situation and used it for Paul's good, He saved Paul and Paul knew that God was always there for him.
Philippians 4:6 says to cast all of our cares onto God, and in all situations to be thankful, and to constantly pray and let God know how we feel and our desires. He wants to know our wants! This Almighty God cares about your every desire.
Micah 7:7 is one of my favorite verses. It tells us to look to the Lord and be confident in Him, and most comforting of all is, my God WILL hear me!
John 15:7 promises us that if we keep His words in us, and His words live in our hearts, causing us to live according to His plan of Love, we can ask whatever we want and it shall be given!Nahum 1:7 promises that God not only is Good, but He understands those who take refuge in Him. He is a Strength and a Stronghold in the times of trouble.
Romans 8:37 says that through Christ Jesus we are MORE than conquerors, and God doesn't want us to be upset and crippled by things in our lives, He wants to help us rise above these things.
When we face hard times we should first take them and give them to God for He always has a good plan for our lives, and will help us. (Jeremiah 29:11)After we go to God and cast our cares on Him, we must believe He is going to help, and wait expectantly for His help. Always remember that God will hear His children and He will always make bad things turn to good for you.
My prayer for those who read this is that they feel like more than a conqueror against Satan's attacks of sadness and hard times. That they will always remember God hears them and always is by their side. I pray that all who are suffering will pour their hearts out to God and receive His healing! In Jesus' Name, Amen!
