Galations 5:1-15

Verses 1-6, Paul is telling the believers that if they go back to the way of trying to follow the laws that Christ died to save us from, we are falling from the grace that God gave us through Christ.
We have become freed from the laws because we could not keep them. It would have been just for God to just destroy man after rejecting Him so badly, but instead, He made a better way for man to finally be in God's rest.
Verse 5 says that we should be eagerly waiting for the hope that Christ is going to return and destroy Satan, and bring us to His Kingdom forever. We have to have faith in Jesus, otherwise we will not feel the real peace in being in God's rest, which is one of the greatest promises God's children have.
Verse 6 says that when we have faith in what Jesus did for us, then we will also have love in our spirit for others.
Verses 7-15 tell how we should be careful not to be decieved to believe that the law can save us. The believers were being persuaded, and we too must remember that Jesus came and followed the law perfectly for us, and through Him we are freed from the law. In return, He asks that we love one another and serve one another.
The law is fulfilled through love. We should constantly be walking in love, for this is what we are called for, to love, first to love God with all of our hearts, minds and souls, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself.
My prayer for all who read this is that do not fall from the grace God gave us, and to live a love-filled life. I pray that their love for Jesus and His gift to everyone will produce an outpouring river of love to others. In Jesus Name, Amen!
